The Tech Angels of New Rochelle is your computer repair and services solution. While providing computer solutions we try not to be a part of the ecological problem. This world has only so many resources available during the life of the planet. We have the solution for your computer needs. Not the solution for global warming. However, we would prefer to be a part of the green solution not a part of the problem. Therefore, The Tech Angels of New Rochelle does do its part in striving to be green.

Our Small Ways of Going Green:

• Use recycled paper products wherever possible • Reduce the amount of paper utilized with online forms and databases. • All our computers are connected to surge protectors, remotes, and/or timers to reduce the use of electricity and limit the amount of phantom electricity. • Not utilizing an office space, we do not add to The Grid for the maintenance of a second location’s heating and electricity waste. • Shutting down or hibernating our computers when not directly being used. • Print previewing before we actually print to our recycled paper products • Taking virtual notes instead of wasting paper with Post-its unless truly needed • Only power up the printer when actually printing. Powering down the printer as soon as the document is retrieved. • Utilizing the power of the web to research all office purchases before venturing to the store limiting air pollution • Walking to local merchants for items when possible. Luckily our community has several merchants that carry products our company needs within a short distance. • Subscribing to mostly online subscriptions to continually assist us with staying abreast of the latest in technology trends. According to USTelecom, “Shifting to online newspaper subscriptions can help prevent nearly 60 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions”. • Donating all empty ink cartridges and old cell phones to benefit the Funding Factory program in the New Rochelle Public Schools. (A win-win… they earn free technology with our help and we recycle our unneeded items) • Although we use some mailings we attempt to do the bulk of our advertising in the virtual realm. • Hydroponic plant to bring added Oxygen to our working space naturally
